GRC Warranty

Express Limited Warranty for Engines+ Branded Products

Effective with sales of Product to a customer of GRC on or after March 6, 2022.

Subject to the terms and conditions set forth herein, Global Recovery Corp. (“GRC”) warrants the Product identified in the customer invoice against defects in material and workmanship as of the date of purchase for the Warranty Period set forth below.  

Customer shall provide written notice of any alleged breach of GRC’s warranty and return any alleged nonconforming or defective Product to GRC, not later than one (1) year from the date of purchase.  If a defect in material or workmanship is determined to exist during the warranty period, GRC shall, in its sole discretion, repair, refund or replace the Product.  

THIS EXPRESS, LIMITED WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.  

For avoidance of doubt, Customer and GRC acknowledge and agree that GRC’s liability for any warranty claim related to or arising out of any actual or alleged breach of this express, limited warranty shall not exceed the purchase price paid by customer for the Product.

Warranty Coverage

General Warranty 

• All warranty Claims must go thru the GRC Warranty Dept.
• All claims that have any labor cost associated with them have a max labor cost of $1000.00 Dollars.
• All warranty Claims will have a maximum claim cost of the product’s value when sold. 
• All failed parts must be returned for warranty analysis, complete failed units must be returned with all components that product was sold with.  
• Failure to return parts will result in a denied Warranty Claim.

Core Engines

All core engines are sold as is with no warranty, no freight, and no labor.

Running Core Engines

All running engines or used engines are sold with a “30-Day Startup Guarantee. We guarantee that the engine will run for 30 days after the sale. No labor or parts will be covered. If there is a failure we will swap the Product for another running engine of equal value. Failed engine must be returned for analysis. Freight will be covered for engine exchange. Customer is responsible for any differences in price on exchange.

Long Block

All long block engines will come with a six month (6) warranty OR 1000 Hrs, whichever comes first. Long block can be repaired, replaced, and or refunded at GRC’s discretion. Long block or parts requiring shipping from or to GRC will be covered by GRC. 

Complete Reman Engines

All complete engines will come with a twelve month (12) warranty OR 1000 Hrs, whichever comes first. Complete engines can be repaired, replaced, and or refunded at GRC’s discretion. Complete engines or parts requiring shipping from or to GRC will be covered by GRC.

Power Units

All power units will come with a twelve month (12) warranty OR 1000 Hrs, whichever comes first. Power units can be repaired, replaced, and or refunded at GRC’s discretion. Power units or parts requiring shipping from or to GRC will be covered by GRC.

Limitations

GRC is not responsible for Product failures resulting from 

1. Failure to install or maintain the Product in accordance with the original equipment manufacturer and GRC’s instructions and recommendations.
2. Use of any improper, contaminated or inadequate fuel, oil, filters, lubricants or coolant.
3. Any installation, use or application of the Product that GRC determines to be improper.
4. Attachments, accessory items or parts not sold by GRC.
5. Accident, abuse, misuse, neglect of the Product.
6. Unauthorized or improper repairs, maintenance, adjustments or operation of the Product.
7. Products used for competitions, racing, or any other process other than product original design.
8. No labor is covered for gaskets or other wear items included with product but not installed by GRC

GRC’s Responsibilities

If a defect in material or workmanship is found to exist during the Warranty Period, upon GRC’s receipt of written notice from Customer of an alleged breach of this warranty and receipt of the alleged defective Product, both to occur not later than one (1) year from the date of purchase, GRC shall, in its sole discretion, repair, refund or replace the Product.

Customer’s Responsibilities

Customer shall be responsible for: 

1. Proper installation and maintenance of the Product in accordance with the original equipment manufacturers and GRC’s instructions and recommendations.
2. Performing required maintenance including, without limitation, use of proper fuel, oil, filters, lubricants and coolant and repairing or replacing parts due to ordinary wear and tear.
3. All contact must be done thru the Warranty Administrator.
4. Giving written notice to GRC of any alleged Product defect in material or workmanship not later than one (1) year from the date of purchase.
5. Returning to GRC the allegedly defective Product not later than one (1) year from the date of purchase.

Requirements for Core

To qualify for an exchange core deposit refund, Customer shall, within sixty (60) days of Customer’s receipt of the Product:

1. Return to GRC a long block core consisting of the following parts:
   
• Cylinder Head
• Block
• Crankshaft
• Camshaft
• Connecting Rod
• Front Cover
• Timing Gears
• Valve Cover
• Rocker Arms
• Oil Pan
• Oil Pickup
• Accessory Drive Gears (if equipped)
  
2. In addition, the core must be a) assembled, complete, with no holes in the block, not damaged by fire and the crankshaft must rotate 360°, b) be drained of oil and coolant, c) returned in the container in which the Product was received and d) tagged with the GRC core return tag shipped with the Product.
